Her Honour Rosemary Edith Hayford

Her Honour Rosemary Edith Hayford is a Circuit Court Judge of the Republic of Ghana. She was previously an Associate of SNK Law Office at Adabraka and D.K. Ameley & Associate, Tema where she did her pupillage.

Rosemary attended the University of Ghana and Ghana School of Law where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Barrister of Law (BL) respectively and was called to the Bar of the Republic of Ghana. She also attended the University of Cape Coast where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Secretaryship) degree. Prior to that, she attended Takoradi Technical University for her Diploma in Business Studies (Secretarial option) Certificate. She had her secondary education at the Archbishop Porter Girls’ Secondary School. 

She was a member of the Ghana Bar Association, the Junior Lawyers Forum and the Women Forum.

Her Honour is a Council member of The Apostolic Church Theologian Seminary (ACTS) and a member of the Board of Governors at Archbishop Porter Girls’ Secondary School. She is a member of the Constitutional Review Committee of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC), a member of the Vetting and the Date of Birth Ratification Committees of The Apostolic Church of Ghana.

Her Honor is currently the Assistant Treasurer of the International Association of Women Judges Ghana Chapter; and also a member of the Association of Magistrates and Judges, Ghana as well as the Commonwealth Magistrates and Judges Association.
